We use avocado oil in A because it works, and because it is simple.
It comes from the fruit, not the seed. It is pressed without heat.
Nothing is added to it and nothing is taken out.

What avocado oil does for skin
It softens skin
Avocado oil is full of fatty acids. The main one is called oleic acid.
Fatty acids fill in the tiny gaps between skin cells.
That is what makes skin feel smooth instead of rough.
Your skin already makes fatty acids on its own.
Avocado oil adds more of the same kind.
It holds water in
Skin loses water all day long.
You cannot see it happening, but it is why skin feels tight by the evening.
Avocado oil sits on the surface and slows that down.
Less water escapes. Skin stays soft longer.
Scientists call this an emollient. It just means something that softens.
It carries vitamin E
Vitamin E is an antioxidant.
Antioxidants help protect skin from things like pollution and sun.
Avocado oil has vitamin E in it naturally. We do not add any. It comes with the oil.
What cold-pressed and unrefined mean
Cold-pressed means the oil is squeezed out without heat.
Heat is faster. It also gets more oil out of the fruit.
But heat burns off some of the good parts, including the vitamin E.
Unrefined means nothing happens to the oil after that. It is not bleached.
The smell is not removed. The color is not removed.
What comes out of the press is what goes in the bottle.
This is why our oil is not clear like the oil in a grocery store. Clear usually means refined.
Who avocado oil is good for
Avocado oil suits most skin. It is especially good for skin that is dry, rough, or easily irritated.
If your skin is very oily or breaks out often, put a little on your jaw first and wait a day.
Oils are not the same for everyone, and it is worth finding out on a small patch.
How to use it
Three drops in your hand.
Rub your hands together.
Press it into your face, or smooth it through your hair.
Use it at night, in the morning, or both. A little goes a long way.
Avocado is good to eat, too
Avocado is one of the few fruits with fat in it. That fat is the healthy kind.
Eating avocado helps your body take in certain vitamins, because those vitamins need fat to travel. It also has fiber.

A has three oils in it. Nothing else.
Avocado oil. Argan oil. Rosemary oil.
Avocado oil is the base. It does the softening and the holding-water work.
Argan oil sits on top of hair and makes it smooth and shiny.
